President of Beni Suef University honors the student Mohamed Abdel Moneim for obtaining the title of “First World Champion and a Gold Medalist” in weightlifting in Mexico.
Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, honored the student, Mohamed Abdel Moneim Sayed, second year student at the Faculty of Commerce, for obtaining the title of ''First World Champion and a Gold Medalist'' in the World Weightlifting Championship in Mexico 2023, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Head of the Department of Wrestling and Individual Sports at the Faculty of Physical Education, Captain / Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and Ms. Iman Hussein Nour El-Din, Director of the National Project for Talent and the Olympic champion in Beni Suef.
For his part, the university president stressed that the university spares no effort in providing all forms of support to its students who excel athletically in all sports to continue their journey and achieve first positions, pointing out that this achievement is added to the university’s record of achievements in the sporting fields.

It should be noted that the student, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, is the son of the National Project for Talent and an Olympic champion. He previously won the title of the first Arab in Africa in the Arab-African Championship, adding to his tally 6 medals in this tournament.
