The Effect of an Effective Application of Enterprise Resource Planning System on Applying the Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing System "An Applied Study on the Egyptian Industrial Companies"

Research Abstract

This research discussed the effect of the effective application of ERP system on applying the fundamentals of lean manufacturing system such as (Elimination of waste, Continuous flow, Productive maintenance, Continuous improvement, 5S , Cellular manufacturing, Pull system, Visual control, Product design, Standardization work, Problem solving), and this is the application on cement industry sector. The results of the statistical analysis explain that there is a positive effect of the effective application of the ERP system on all fundamentals of lean manufacturing system in cement factories.
